Product Introduction

If you’ve ever towed a 20-ton excavator 300km to a workshop just to fix a worn pin bore, waited 3 days for a repair that should take 4 hours, or lost tens of thousands in downtime because your fixed portable bore repair machine can’t fit into a tight boom cavity – this portable bore repair machine is built exactly for you. We’ve spent 14 years designing, testing, and rebuilding this machine alongside real repair techs, mining maintenance crews, and heavy equipment operators. This isn’t a lab-built prototype – it’s a field-proven all-in-one line boring and overlay welding unit that’s been used on over 20,000 repair jobs across 40+ countries, from remote Australian mine sites to African farm fields, European shipyards to South American construction sites.

Product Usage Scenarios

This automatic hole boring welding machine is built for any job where you can’t bring the equipment to the workshop. Here’s where it’s used every single day:

Construction & Heavy Equipment Repair

This is our most common use case. If you run a repair service or a construction fleet, you know how much it costs to tow an excavator, loader, bulldozer, or crane to a workshop. A single worn boom pin bore used to mean 3-5 days of downtime, $2,000+ in transport costs, and a frustrated customer. With this portable bore repair machine, you drive to the job site, set up in 20 minutes, and finish the full weld and bore repair in 4-6 hours. No towing, no disassembly, no waiting. We have customers who doubled their monthly repair jobs after adding this machine to their service truck.

Mining & Quarry Maintenance

Mines are almost always hundreds of kilometers from the nearest repair shop. A single worn hinge bore on a crusher, continuous miner, or haul truck can shut down an entire production line, costing $10,000+ an hour in lost output. Before, crews had to wait a week for a workshop team to come out, or haul the part hundreds of km.

Marine & Shipyard Repair

Dry dock fees are crippling for ship owners. A single 5000-ton cargo ship can cost $50,000+ just to rent a dry dock, even for a simple rudder bore repair. This machine lets you fix rudder stock bores, anchor machine holes, diesel engine cylinder bores, and deck machinery shaft holes directly at the dock.

Customer Feedback

Agricultural Equipment Repair, Bavaria, Germany “I was nervous to buy this machine, because I’d never used a line boring machine before. I’m a small repair shop owner, not a big company. The team sent me training videos before the machine even arrived, and when it got here, they hopped on a live video call and walked me through my first repair, start to finish. Now I’m running repairs every week, and I’ve already made back the cost of the machine 3 times over. It’s easy to use, solidly built, and does exactly what they say it does.”— Mark, Small Engine & Heavy Equipment Repair, Texas, USA

“We’re a marine repair company in Cape Town, and we first bought this machine to fix a rudder bore on a 5000-ton cargo ship. The customer was quoted $60,000 for dry dock fees alone, plus the repair cost. We used this machine to fix the bore right at the dock, no dry dock needed, finished in 2 days. The customer saved over $50,000, and we made a great profit. We’ve since bought 2 more units, and we use them for every ship repair job we get. The welding quality is excellent, the boring precision meets all the classification society standards, and it’s easy to get into tight engine room spaces.”— David, Marine Engineering Contractor, Cape Town, South Africa “I run a farm equipment repair service in rural Germany, and harvest season is make-or-break for us. If a farmer’s combine breaks down, they can’t wait 2 days for us to haul it to the shop. This machine fits in the back of my service van, and I can fix a worn tractor bore right in the farmer’s field in 2 hours. I’ve had it for 2 years, and it’s never let me down. Even when I’m working in the rain, or in a muddy field, it runs perfectly. The support team is always available if I have a question, even on weekends. I’ve recommended it to every other repair tech I know.” — Thomas, Agricultural Equipment Repair, Bavaria, Germany

FAQ

Q: What’s the biggest bore this machine can handle?

A: Our standard model handles bores from 45mm up to 600mm in diameter, with a max depth of 1500mm. We also build fully custom models for larger jobs – we’ve built units that handle up to 1200mm in diameter and 3000mm in depth for dam gate, turbine, and large mining equipment repairs. Just send us your bore size and depth, and we’ll build it to fit.

Q: Can this machine both weld up a worn bore and then bore it back to size?
A: Yes. This is an all-in-one machine, designed to do both overlay welding and finish boring in a single setup. You mount it once, weld the worn material back onto the bore, then switch to boring mode and machine it back to the original factory spec. No need for a separate welding machine, no repositioning, no alignment errors.

Q: What happens if the machine breaks down after I get it? A: First, call or message our 24/7 support team. We’ll hop on a video call with you right away to diagnose the issue. For small problems, we’ll walk you through fixing it on-site, step by step. If a part needs to be replaced, we’ll ship the original spare part to you via international express within 24 hours.
