Product Introduction
If you run an excavator repair shop, manage a mine fleet, or operate a construction site, you know exactly how costly a worn pin bore can be.Pulling a boom off a 30-ton excavator, hauling it 200km to a machine shop, waiting 3+ days for machining, and paying double the repair cost just for transport and downtime? It’s a total waste of time, money, and your customer’s patience. This excavator bore repair boring and welding machine fixes that exact problem. It’s an all-in-one, portable unit that lets you weld up worn bores and re-machine them to factory specs — right on the machine, on your job site, no full disassembly required. No more hauling heavy parts across the country. No more days of costly downtime.

Product Details
We don’t cut corners on these machines. Every part is built to hold up to daily use in mines, construction sites, and repair shops. Here’s what makes them work, day in and day out:
All-in-one weld + bore design, no double setupMost line boring machines only do one thing: bore. If you need to weld up a worn bore first, you need a second machine, and you have to re-calibrate twice. Ours does both in one unit. Set it up once, weld the worn inner bore to build material back up, then bore it straight back to factory specs. No repositioning, no re-calibrating. Our customers tell us this cuts average repair time by 60%.
Built to survive harsh job sitesDust, rain, vibration, rough handling — this machine takes it all. The main control box is IP54 dust and water resistant, the main frame is welded from thick steel plate, and all electrical parts are sealed against dust and moisture. We’ve tested these machines in open-pit mines, rainy construction sites, and freezing remote areas, and they hold up. Our customers report the failure rate is 85% lower than cheaper, hobbyist-grade machines on the market.
Product Usage Scenarios
This machine is built for anyone who repairs heavy equipment, no matter where you’re working. Here’s where our customers use it every day:
Excavator & Heavy Equipment Repair ShopsThis is our most common use case. Repair shops use it to fix boom, arm, bucket, and chassis hinge bores on excavators, loaders, and bulldozers. No need to tie up your big CNC lathe for small bore jobs, no need to turn away customers who can’t wait for off-site machining. Most of our repair shop customers see the machine pay for itself in 3-5 jobs.
Mines & QuarriesWhen a haul truck or excavator goes down in a remote mine, every hour of downtime costs thousands of dollars in lost production. Our customers use this machine to repair bores on-site, no need to pull the entire machine apart and haul it to a workshop 100km away. We’ve had mine customers cut downtime from 3+ days to 4 hours for a full bore repair.
Road & Bridge Construction SitesIf your excavator or crane breaks down on a highway job site, hauling it back to the shop can delay the entire project. This machine lets you fix the worn bore right there on the job site, no transport, no long delays. It works on everything from small skid steers to 50-ton cranes.
Customer Feedback
Michael T. | Illinois, USA | Excavator Repair Shop Owner“We bought our first JS-60 from this factory 2 years ago, and just ordered our 3rd. Before this, we were stuck hauling booms and buckets across the state to a machine shop, which ate up 60% of our profit on every repair job. Now we drive to the customer’s site, set up in 15 minutes, and finish the full weld and bore repair in 3-4 hours. The machine has held up perfectly, even with daily use. The few times we had questions about the welding settings, their tech team replied within 2 hours, even on a Saturday. We won’t buy from anyone else.”
David P. | Western Australia | Mine Fleet Maintenance Manager“We work in a remote iron ore mine, 800km from the nearest machine shop. If an excavator goes down, we’re losing $25,000 an hour in production. We bought this machine after a 3-day shutdown cost us a fortune, and it’s been the best purchase we’ve made all year. It’s easy to haul to our remote sites, sets up fast, and lets us fix bores without pulling the entire boom off the machine. It’s been running in our dusty mine for 18 months now, and it still holds the same tolerance as the day we got it. No issues at all.”
FAQ
These are the questions we get asked every single day by new customers. If you don’t see your question here, just send us a message, we’ll reply right away.
Q: Is this machine both a welder and a borer? Or do I need to buy two separate machines?A: It’s both. This is an all-in-one machine that does both the bore welding (to build up worn material) and precision line boring (to re-machine the bore to factory specs) in one unit. You don’t need to buy two separate machines, and you only have to set it up once for the entire repair.
Q: What size excavators will this work on?A: Our 3 standard models cover almost every excavator on the market:
JS-40: 1-ton to 30-ton excavators
JS-60: 30-ton to 80-ton excavators
JS-90: 80-ton to 120-ton excavators
All of them work on boom, arm, bucket, chassis hinge, and swing bearing bores. If you need a custom size for a larger machine or a special bore, just send us your specs, we’ll build it for you.
Q: I’ve never used a boring machine before. How hard is it to learn?A: It’s a lot simpler than you think. We designed the controls for people who repair equipment every day, not engineers with 10 years of machining experience. The control panel is simple, with separate, clear controls for welding and boring.
